The Diocese of Fort Wayne requires the following policies:
Males under the age of 18 are not permitted to sleep in the same area as 18 and older males. (CHWC will provide a room separated by a divider in order to accommodate this request).
Females under the age of 18 are not permitted to sleep in the same area as 18 and older females.
(CHWC will provide side by side rooms to separate these age groups requiring doors to be left open for safety as well as having an adult female chaperone placed outside the classrooms for safety).
CHWC will have designated separate shower times for under 18 and over 18 for both males and then females.
Work teams: Diocese of Fort Wayne requires two adults at each worksite/ two adults per work team. (CHWC will assign two adults on each work team for each worksite.)
We work with woman’s shelters, homeless shelters, food pantries, low income homes, and with elderly and disabled people. Day care sites for the most part are boys and girls clubs. We travel no farther than 1 hr from the school.
